5 days post circumcision

5 days after circumcision. Erections are agony. Very swollen and bruised. Cannot even touch penis. Injection sites are very sore. This normal?

Everybody's different but In my own case I had a lot of swelling. My penis and balls were about three times normal size and really sore. The nighttime erections were the worst bit. It felt like everything was going to burst. I found if you lie on your side and draw your knees up towards your chest it makes it slightly more bearable. Things will get easier, although it probably doesn't feel that way at the moment

Yea man. I’m in agony at the moment. Feels like stitches gonna burst ha. How long did yours last before easing off

Yes I know it's bloody sore. According to my surgeon the erections are part of the healing process and help everything settle down and get back into shape. After a couple of weeks mine were bearable but every time I got hard it still felt like the skin wouldn't stretch enough to achieve full erection. Does get better tho

Yeah, it's bad for a week to ten days and then gets better quite rapidly. Just need to grit your teeth and know it will come to an end soon. Good luck!

Cheers buddy. Where I had penile nerve block is very sore at the moment, burning pain bad bruising

Nelly19812022 it is normal for the inyection are to feel painful. Today is my 9th day since my circumcision and I still feel it a little. This was were they infected the nerve blocker to minimize feelings for the first 6 to 8 hours.

Luckily everything is healing well. Hope you start feeling better soon!

Thanks for reply mate. The pain was getting better today. Then today started to hurt bad again. It’s just doesn’t seem to be improving. I know I’m only 8 days In now but it’s getting to me now

Sorry to hear about that mate. When is your follow up appointment? I know that we are close to the time when things will start improving.

This is so frustrating at time, but hopefully we can get out of this situation soon.

It is my second time getting surgery performed on my penis. I did get circumcised when I was 7 years old back in my country due to phimosis. However, the doctor back then left too much foreskin and scar tissues to the point that it was causing me pain when I was having intercourse.

I am day 11 and sleeping is still the worst. I was still bleeding plenty until day 9 but has lessened. Waking middle of the night and waking mornings are painful. As this was 16 days ago please say this has stopped now.

Hi pal. Yes all stopped now. At 2 weeks my stitches where pulling and causing to bleed. I cut them all out and had been good since

I was a complete mess for 2 weeks. Couldn’t see me getting better. It does just get better very quickly.

Thank you. Mine seems to be taking longer but I did hear the words difficult operation and stuck down a few times which may be why

Six weeks on and saw the doc yesterday and you are right recovering slowly. I have BXO which made the operation more difficult. I have been told to leave 2 months before engaging in any strenuous activity so 2 weeks to go but it will be not exactly be strenuous until I build my fitness up again as this was my second operation Thank you

Salted warm water sit your penis in disposal cup it will heal quicker sooth the skin I was told it helped healing quicker
