5 Month Post-Circumcision Swelling

I’m in my late twenties, and after suffering from severe phimosis, I was circumcised in March of this year.

Following my operation, I avoided masturbating for ten weeks, the sensitivity of my freshly-exposed glans gradually diminished, my stitches dissolved, and my wound appeared to heal.

Now, several months post-operation, my penis still appears swollen, and my circumcision scar sensitive. The scarring on the underside of my penis where they surgeons have removed my frenulum is raised, swollen, and unattractive!

I’m looking for feedback on how my recovery is progressing, and advise if there is anything that I can do to aid in flattening and reducing my swelling?

One Mann’s inattentive is another man’s great. This is not, however the place to talk about how nice your penis may or may not be. As to the swelling and sensitivity, is your penis very swollen and is it so sensitive that you cannot cope with it? An anaesthetic ointment may help with the sensitivity or you could consult your doctor. We had a man on here who was still having swelling and tightness issues at a year post op.

I still have swelling ring under glans and swollen where frenulum was removed. I feel your pain. Doc just keep telling me to wait it out.

literally, same thing. My right side is swollen, it´s very unattractive.

Am scared cuz it looks like I have paraphimosis. And am jus overthinkin a lot and I want the swelling to really go away

I'm at day 12. Definitely lots of swelling above my cut. Very tender too.

My swelling was most intense the first 2 weeks. It’s just haven’t diffused much since.

same issue... it is staying the same, my swelling in the right side doesnt change nor look better.

I just hope and pray it vanishes soon for both of us mate. This is a nightmare

My doc suggested using silicone sheets to reduce the red and raised scar line after circumcision. Have used it and found it helped.

I am 6 months in.. Still have swelling under my frenulum. Hoping it slowly reduces, I've been told its excess skin. Straightens out when erect, it may be something we have to live with..
