The scar after 7 months

I'm 32. Sorry for my English.

Almost 7 months ago I had a second circumcision. The stitches had began to fall in the fourth week and lasted until the sixth.

Since I developed a slight swelling, I had consulted with the doctor, who said that there was nothing to worry about and that it took time for the tissue to regenerate.

The scar is now almost smoothed out, but where the stitches were, the skin is still like pinched. Specifically, in place of one of the stitches, the "pinch" is a little bigger and I feel discomfort under light pressure.

I'm thinking of meeting the doctor at the first opportunity for a consultation, but in the meantime I'm worried because I've heard of cases where the stitches may not have resorbed. This is usually associated with swelling or another overt symptom, which does not seem to be present to me.

On the other hand, I assume that the stitches were a little tighter and it is possible that for this reason it will take more time for the scar to smooth out and the tissue to regenerate.

Please advice as I am very worried.

It could be that the stitches were a bit tight, as you say it looks pinched. If you currently still dont have an opportunity to go see your doctor, it's a good idea to soak in warm water and massage the are to try and smooth it out.
