Blister/ulcer after circumcision.

Ok, so I’m now on day 14. I know it’s not very long in the grand scheme of things.

After one week I was worried about the swelling and healing so saw the doctor and was given a course of antibiotics to take as she thought I had an infection.

I’ve been on the antibiotics for 1 week of 2 now.

For the most part the swelling, healing and recovery seems on track all except what I can only describe as a blister/ulcer on the left side of the head/ helmet of my penis. It has a yellowish tinge to it,

Has anyone had anything similar to this?

Is it something I need to be over concerned about?

I am on day 11 after circumcision and also have what your describe. I spoke to my doctor who advised that it looks like post-op trauma and it will heal on its own.

I agree that it is hard to describe.

It is not painful or sore in my case. Is it for you?

That’s interesting. For the most part it isn’t painful, but I do clean it with salt water and cotton pads and if I put pressure on it it’s sensitive. Has a slightly rough texture too, not as smooth as the rest of the head would be.

Yes it certainly sounds like the same thing but I suppose you can’t be completely sure. It may be best to get it checked out properly but I wouldn’t worry, I took the original picture on day 2 and when I compare it to now it does look better so also worth doing that to see progress.
