4 days after circumcision

I got circumcised on 27 june and today is 1 july

Swelling is still there and no sign of visible healing🙂

So i wanted to ask whether is it too early to judge or i should wait little more??

Hey man,

I got mine done 9 days ago now and is still little swollen. Healing takes weeks so just keep an eye on it and try clean it best you can. Take Ibuprofen to help with any pain and swelling.

Thanks for your reply, actually i wanted to ask that i have no pain , only the stitches cause a prick sometimes when they touch the scrotum or any other skin areaOtherwise no problem regarding pain

No fever

I have flight on 22 july 2022 i mean about 20 days later and i am worried that is that an ample time for recovery??

Regarding medicines , i take antibiotic containing cefporex cv brandingOne tablet for anti gut reflex etc and one painkiller etc(anatrol sp)

One intramuscular injection

One cream

Hy guys today is about 8th day after i got my circumcisionIt was an open type circumcision ( conventional type)

It has absorbable sutures in it

I think the incision area has got the scab of black colour or maybe dark red

Lets see when it comes off!!

Does any one have any idea when it would come off

And one more question!! The sutures coming off is a pre requisite for the swelling to go down( i have swelling below the glans head on the rught side)

This whole week ( 5 -6 days left) i am gonna give it more open time … will stay without clothes and then i will start wearing the underwear so as to make it vertical and aid in swelling going down!!!

May i know that ehat is the expected time to see the swelling to go down !! Like how many more days i should expect so that it lowers down!!

And for sutures also how many more days!!

And one more thing i could notice a difference in my pee stream !! In the starting 4-5 days it was much strong like very pressure and now from 2-3 days i can notice only single stream with a normal pressure !! So is it a sign of internal swelling. Going down!!??

I was told at least 4 weeks to return to normal. Reading on here I see people going way longer. I will know shortly I guess

And what is ur condition now?? And when were u circumcised?? And could u please share ur reviews like what happened in first week then second then third and so on and when did u notice improvements urself!!

Was in the exact same boat as you fella day 4,5,6,7 were the worst nothing seems to change or look different I’m on day 18 now and looks pretty much normal just a few stitches to come out so it definitely gets better don’t worry , keep it clean and keep on top of any pain and you’ll be fine 👍 all the best lad.

Alright mate,

Am on week 9 or recovery and still swollen but not as much as the first 4-5weeks, after intercourse it hurts the following day! Day 5 some of my stitches burst open due to the night time erections and I end up back in A&E due to the about of bleeding, but they wouldn't re-stitch due to the amount of swelling, just sent me home with more pain relief. Obviously then I had open wounds and caught an infection, more antibiotics were given. I felt like it was the worse operation I could have gone through being 33 years old! Spoken with my GP and he just reassured me give it time to heal. Now on week 9 and I can see the improvement it is just a long waiting game! I had to have it done being type 1 diabetic which was causing Phimosis! Hope this helps.
