Swelling still there after 3 week!

I got circumcised on 3 October and swelling has gone down for 1st week.

But after that there has been no major improvement in swelling going down. Erections are not painful but it's the swelling that keeps me worrying. Also I would like to know if I can ride a bike and what clothes to wear?

The swelling wi go when it goes. It varies from man to man. Some lose it fairly quickly in a couple of months. Others have reported still having swelling at a year.

Of course you can go out if you feel able. The only advice on clothing would be tighter underwear that can hold your penis pointing up.

Remember that your healing after circumcision is a 6-8 week journey, not a single event.

Swelling will reduce, but at its own pace.

Because of the pressure of the narrow saddle on your genitals, it is inadvisable to ride a bicycle for at least 4 weeks.

Hey Man,

You and I got our ops within days of each other.

As of right now my general overall swelling has reduced drastically but I still have swelling under my gland on the left-hand side and in other localised areas.

This is all perfectly natural and part of the process. It takes time.

Luckily I don't have to venture out so I am just wearing shorts with no underwear and that feels super comfortable and gets the air to the wound.

I was told by my Dr that is takes 6 weeks to heal and 3 months to be surgery free.

I've had the surgery done on the same day as you and I'm dealing with pretty much the same issue. In fact, the average swelling has gone down within the first 2 weeks but now I noticed a remaining swelling over the scar line where the stiches are and a bit under the region where the frenulum used to be. I'm actually very concerned cuz yesterday it got very hard, I could see what it was looking like and it is very very tight. Not just tight, but that scar line swelling i told ya is kinda still very visible even when it's hard. About the tightness, I hope my skin will soften a bit it'll get a little looser

The frenulum is the last area to heal. I’m at over 3 months and still feel some discomfort on my frenulum area. For swelling, I soaked my penis in warm salt water which helped a lot. After the stitches dissolved I started massaging bio oil which has been helping smooth out the scar!

To smooth out the scar I have been using bio oil. Some guys on the forum use it. The other option was coconut oil. I can send you a picture of it if it will help .I ordered mine from Amazon and massage it to my scar a few times a day.

The swelling will keep going down over the next 2 months. At week 4, my stitches fell out. That is when I noticed the healing process was steady.

Well my stiches had fallen out after week 2. I am noticing good improvement but swelling is worrying me. Nonetheless the erections are painless. Hope it goes well with the urologist tomorrow.

Just wanted to tell you all that my Urologist said the penis is healing good. He has said I can do anything except hard exercises which put a weight on my penis and be careful while riding. The swelling will subside and he said for the continue use of Neosporin Ointment 2 times a day. Also you can use organic cocunut oil. I have to avoid any kind of sexual simulation and masturbation for next 3 weeks. Thank you. Cheers.
