I'm exactly 3 weeks post circ and my stitches are still on, no near sign of any disolving soon, my swelling is still visible. I'm not sure if im healing or not, i also have 2 tiny hard-ish spots on both sides of the penis which a few nights ago decided to simultanesly hurt when i got erections.

Im honestly getting worried, please help.

I had the snip 3 1/2 weeks ago im almost healed 1 week left to full speed i was told by the doctor that i am the fastest healing he ever seen in 30 yrs of doing circumcision due to i took care of the wound very seriously let me share a some tip i woke up in the middle of the night in pain from erection i would go to the bathroom and spray some saline solution then triple antibiotics ointment following with some petroleum jelly around the neck of the penis that help alot with the healing then when the stiches were dissolving i start cleaning it alchol and qtip burns a lil because is working then apply triple antibiotics and petroleum jelly but if i was you i will contact your doctor you probably have a small infection that is not letting you heal properly i hope this helps

If there is any indication of infection, a doctor should be consulted. If there is no infection then triple antibiotic cream is a waste of time. Alcohol should not be applied to an open wound.

Hello mate I’m in the same situation tbh! I’m exactly 3 weeks today also some stitches have gone but I still have a lot of them visible the swelling under frenulum is still very large. I wouldn’t worry to much Ino it is hard I’m also struggling but we are still in very early stages of healing 🙏🏻

Are the lumps below (closer to your groin) than the incision? Or on the incision line? I've got similar low down. They're internal and I'd imagine they're lymph nodes but I'm keeping an eye on them. When the foreskin is removed they have to tie off/cauterise blood vessels and lymph channels. In week 4 I had a couple of red swellings right on the incision line which have now changed colour and gone back to being the same colour as the rest of my shaft skin. Should add that I'm sexually active again after 5 weeks.

Hi guys. I was done 3 years ago and being in my mid 50s I wish I had been done in my youth. I remember coming around in the hospital and taking the first look, needless to say I was horrified, thinking this will never be the same again, looked like a dogs dinner. I remember after the 5th/ 6th week there was a vast improvement with no discomfort and looked like it should. Sexually active after the 6th week,

Use antiseptic wipes as often as you can and keep it clean.

Morning glory was the worse thing. Being woken up but an almighty pain where the stitches were under pressure

I did find a long sexual session would cause a small tare but as long as you remember to keep the gland moisturised with Vaseline , tares this will either not happen or at least be minimal.

Other than that I’m glad I had it done.

Skin tears should not happen and Tory can cause infection.

sounds similar to me, mate - 4 weeks post-op and most of my stitches are still in. a few have fallen out overnight so far. the swelling around my frenulum was bleeding overnight for ages but has dramatically improved the last week - it now looks better than the front! there's still a very clear "line" and mild swelling on the incision line around the front, where most of the stitches remain. I too have two noticeable lumps beneath wound, which don't feel pleasant to touch at all. I've read that it's pretty normal and they should disappear soon enough. try to stay positive!
