Stitches not dissolving

It’s day 27 since I got circumcised and my stitches still have yet to fully dissolve, should I be worried? I’m a little anxious because I’ve been reading everyone’s stitches are dissolving and falling out within 7-14 days, please help!

You should get them removed by now mate all mine had gone by three weeks

Thank you! I have an appointment Tuesday I’m worried that they will tell me that the stitches will dissolve instead of taking them out

Stitches do their job in 10-12 days maximum. If they don't fall out of their own accord then it is a good idea to remove them (or get your doctor or nurse to do it for you) after 14 days to reduce swelling and avoid 'stitch tunnels' or 'train tracks'.

Thank you! Will they be able to take them out even if the have tighten up?
