Hi everyone, so I'm back with another question.. Firstly let me say, I'm tired, stressed an kinda losing my mind.. To the point I'm even regretting doing this.. But to my question.. I have an open wound with a scab on top but there seems to be this white/yellow discharge around the scab on top going right and all the way down to the bottom where it's still closed. (wish i could show a pic) i clean the area 2-3 times a day as per doctor's instructions an put an ointment called Banogon but it's starting to worry me as it tends to sting now an again, an some of it cant come off (at the bottom where its still closed an around the scab) its really hard to describe with words alone.. I'm still on antibiotics called Purmycin which i finish on Tuesday morning an I'm losing faith, does anyone know what it could be an if its good or bad.. Please someone advise
(P.S this platform needs to bring back the picture function- it would really help for cases hard to explain)

Trust me mate sounds like you are doing a great job through your recovery keep it up. It gets a lot better as the days go by trust me I’m on day 15 and I’ve healed soo quickly.
I know it might feel hard and you may regret it but don’t You are doing great man. It’s going to get better.
By the sounds of it mate your body is just pushing out the nasty stuff and your body is scabbing up which is totally fine. Just keep the area clean and dry. If you are not using any gauzes I suggest you try and use some just on that area for the next few days changing it twice a day after a shower. Use Vaseline on the gauzes and if your doctor has prescribed you some cream to apply use that for a few more days on the area. Following your doctors instructions. Usually you apply the cream 3x a day every 8 hours I only applied it 2x a day for around a week and it did a great job.
If you have any concerns I suggest you talk to your doctor but just keep the area dry and clean like I’ve said and if it’s still open I suggest you apply some gauzes to it just for a few more days.
Thanks, I really really appreciate the info, i was a bit concerned about the yellow discharge around the wound but your answer has made me feel a lot better.. I know i won't be completely healed by tomorrow but just wanted to make sure I'm on the right track.. Thanks mate
I know how you feel mate by the sounds of it I had the same issue where my frenulum once was but I found out it’s normal etc and it gave peace to my mind. Try not to worry too much and focus on getting healed. Over the next few days washing etc applying that cream and allowing the body to do its job it will disappear really quick. I had glue not stitches so I found my healing went quick.
Anymore questions mate drop me a message and I’ll see if I can answer them. Also if you can try and dry your penis with a hair dryer on a warm setting not hot and use a clean hand towel and pat dry your glans I found this helped me.
Mine was stitches lol an when they broke it almost broke me but this forum has helped a lot with the questions i had.. I usually dry it with a hand towel but will try the hair dryer too.
For now that was my only concern so I'm good for now but will shout if i have anymore. Thanks again mate, you were a great help
Think of it this way. If the injury was to your arm and it was behaving the same way, how concerned would you be? Chances are you’d put it out of your mind and just let the body get on with its stuff. That’s how you have to approach this. The wound doesn’t know where it is on your body and will heal in its own time.
True i get what you saying, i just didn't think of it in that way cause its the part of my body i need an is kinda sensitive but you make a valid point.. I'll try an calm down a lil a trust the process.
When you put the cream on does it always sting as you might be allergic to the cream,as for the discharge I got that it might be infection check with your doctor why did you get a circumcision was it tight foreskin
