So the NHS online pages suggest I wash this everyday with soapy water.. but how am I supposed to do that when it's meant to stay there and become a scab? As of right now, the stitch at the top has come off and has been loose for the last day or 2. If I tried to pull at it, it'd bring some of this "slough" stuff away with it, like if a stick was stuck in a spiders web. If I'm to wear clothes, it's just going to stick to it and be pulled off, if I use a gauze, it'll do the same because its weepy right now.. any suggestions? All but one stitch elsewhere, are loose now. Just waiting for them to fall out.

That looks infected. I had a circumcision not so long ago and had an infection, which was partially due to lack of decent aftercare instructions provided by the NHS (the leaflet was shit) and poor advice given to me by a nurse.
I went to the docs and she put me on strong antibiotics straight away and told me to come back the next day. They didn't work so they put me on another dose of biotics and yet another after getting my swab results back.
If you haven't been to your doctor I would urge you to book an appointment. Just to be on the safe side.
get to doc it looks infected
is this guy trolling or what?
That's for him to know and us to find out 😂.. half the time I have no idea who or what to believe on here lmao
Ah I'm not so sure man... dont really want to fiddle with any myself incase I fuck it up 😂. I'm gonna try go docs in a few days and see what he thinks of it.
My dad just told me to wash it and get as much of this stuff off as I can. He thinks its infected too
Hi Man, I think it is slowly improving I would have it checked with your doctor in case it may be infected. do you have any soreness or discharge pus from it or an odor. I think it's secondary wound healing where it is filling in the gaps between your wounds. keep everything very clean it's ok to have a shower with shower gel just make sure to wash it off and use some salted water in a mug. If you are going out I would use a non adherent dressing to keep it clean.
Hey fella, yeah I'm gonna try and see a doctor in a few days when it's back open again. I don't have any discharge or soreness and the odour went after I had got rid of some of the black stuff. Literally just looks like a white cream now. I've still been salt washing when I can but starting to wonder when I can stop that? Where do you also suggest I get some dressing?
Also when I go, I'm gonna get the doctor to remove some, if not, all of the stitches. They're all so loose now and seem like they're kinda stuck to my skin now and aren't actually connected to the swelling no more.
That's good man you clean up a bit. yeah I think it's not urgent but next week maybe call to your doctor and have it checked and maybe he will remove some of your stitches. I would continue with the salt water washers until your wounds have healed completely. You should be able to get the dressing in any good chemist Melolin non adhering is the one I used Just cut to size you will need some ordinary gauze to wrap over this dressing.
So would you say it's most likely infected or just close to being so? I mean, I've already had one infection so dont feel as though it is again.. however I could be wrong🤷♂️. Makes me wonder just what it's supposed to look like then if not this??
I used Manuka honey on mine, on some gauze, it's a proven antimicrobial and it cleaned it up really well. I still have a bit look like that but seems to be filling in ok
