ShangRing Circumcision!explanations.HELP.

I wanna know everyone’s journey of using the Shang ring,stitchless method. I recently gotten circumcised using the Shang ring on August 6th, the first week,when I had the ring on, my penis was super swollen, like the girth expanded twice it’s size like if it inflated. I went back on the 7th day to get it removed, and now that i had removed the ring the swelling went down from the shaft but now the edge of the penis inflated so much,that my head is now sunked into the skin,there for the swelling from the side went to the top of the head and the swelling is now barrowing my head into the penis,like if the shaft swelling expanded over my head,if you understand what I mean, Thursday August 20th will be considered my 2nd week but I just had questions and wonders. If anyone else had this problem of the swelling burying the head and if it went away or anything,please respond with your feedback thank you.

You are early in the healing process I think that you need to give it some time Swelling takes different times to go down for different guys. The swelling can cause the glans to become partially buried. If you get too worried then you could always see your doctor or surgeon. Take care.

I had the Shangring procedure done a little over 3 months now. Week one was ok I had discomfort, but it was manageable although My penis swelled beyond recognition and remained swollen weeks after the ring was removed. Also, had the frenulum removed and that was the sight where an infection ensued due mostly to my skin’s reaction to the surgical glue! Around week five i was still fighting the persistent infection and trying to keep the wound clean and puss from oozing and so I had to get a 10 day antibiotic regimen, which didn’t seem to work until days after I had finished it. I began to do warm mild salt water rinses 3 time a day and wore home made towel skirts to keep my penis dry and aired. Around week 7 I noticed that everything was finally healing and starting to look back to normal. I had a lot of anxiety during my healing time as my all I saw was swelling infection and discomfort. I had to put myself in a positive mind frame. I don’t regret being circumcised, but the healing process was really stressful for me. I wish you well and a fast recovery! I hope this helps

Yes I had gotten the frenulum stretch/removal as well,but how can I take care of it,I keep putting ointment like neosporum to keep it from getting infected,and I also try to clean it with wipes,and then when I shower I let the water and soap that I wash my body and hair drip down my chest to it,but how do you clean it with salt water,like what do you do

Prepare a mild salt water solution in a 16oz cup add about a teaspoon of salt warm in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds you should be able to sip and taste it if it’s tastes too salty, it’ll irritate your skin. Once you have the right solution and temperature not hot “warm” dip a few cotton balls in the salt water and perform soft compresses on the scar line where the wound is. Do it three times a day for about 15 minutes each session. Oh and rinse with cool water after. You don’t want to leave salt on yr penis. It might irritate it

I used neosporin too but it didn’t help me at all. I can only speak for myself. Once I stopped putting ointments, and using the salt water rinses, everything began to heal better. I didn’t have any underwear on during the day and slept in loose fitting boxers. Just so my kids didn’t walk in on their naked father. Also if you’re well endowed, try not to let yr penis dangle as it’ll remain swollen longer. I’m small when I’m flaccid, so no dangling for me. Also I’m 51 so maybe my age might have affected my progress. Honestly, I hope you heal soon!
