Hi everyone! I'm 26 and I had my circumcision 10 days ago. Conventional technique. I had some bleeding because I lost one stitch in the very first night, I guess due to an erection while sleeping. Anyway, it was mild and everything has been ok since then, although I'm concerned about the scar line. It seems to be healing very nicely, surprincingly better where I lost stitches within the first week, but it's not so esthetic in the area near the frenulum, there are some lumps where the stitches were (or are, I'm not sure if they are still under the scar tissue, I think they are). I know it's early, but I'd like to know what to expect, will these lumps dissapear or at least get smaller with time? Any feedback will be very appreciated, so thanks in advance. yes, yours is completely normal.
all the swellings and bumps will go away eventually.
just follow your doctor's instruction on how to take care of the wound and you should be fine.
I was a bit worried because I don't want to repeat the surgery to repair any scarring. I had it done under local anestesia, and it was painful. Also the first week was awful, 8 or 9 involuntary erections each night that caused me excruciating pain (despite all the painkillers and other precautions). Also I've read that nocturnal erections promote healing because increase blood flow, mobilize the tissues, etc. 🤔 Maybe it's true. Do you know something about applying steroids to help stretching the remaining skin (I've noticed that my erections are about 2cm smaller -before about 16cm, now 14cm-)? I don't think steroid or any other chemicals on healing wound is a good idea.
Wait till your wound closed together completely and you can start to apply vco or bio oil to soften the scar line.
Steroids cause inmune supression where they are applied, you can use them to stretch after you are completely healed, buy I dont advise prolonged application
