So I m under phimosis stretching journey from 2 months now..n its been great though, it started from real tight foreskin to now complete retracting in flaccid state, not in erect state.and i have a short frenulum...so i came across an aspect of phimotic ring/band n i read about it...so i came to know that it should be stretched to get in such a way that foreskin gets to retarct completely smooth in erect state...so..My query is to confirm this..please answer as follows.
My condition now: foreskin easily retracts in flaccid state...in erect state its causes pain n discomfort but can be retracted with lil force but discomfort is persistant when behind the corona
1.What is a phimotic ring/band exactly n its relation with phimosis?
2.Can the above said,"Stretching of phimotic ring/Band" helpful?coz i read in another article that its inelastic.
On basis of Question2.
1.)Is possible stretching of this band helpful to cure my phimotic condition?
2.)if yes? then please suggest some methods that can help me stretch this band
3.Can u suggest me some techiniques or some tips to get my phimotic condition better?

I am not sure as to how it works but for me I had a short frenulum and I opted for a circumcision . I don't believe in much of phimotic rings as stuff as stretching as years of trying stretching wasn't useful and I didn't want to risk a paraphimosis episode and go to the ER. Also my doc advised against using such devices. Not sure if they are encouraged . All the best and pls do consult a doctor !
I m not implying of the thing of the devices of tge phimosis rings...i m talking about the inelasticity of the ring actually inside the penis...which is called phimotic band..or ridged band
Oh thanks for the clarification ! Was confused with a device being used by some . For some this phimosis ring can subside with steroid ointments and stretching . But this has to be assessed by a doctor first so that it can be effective.
Techiques are there to stretch the foreskin like keeping fingers and grasping both sides of the foreskin and pulling it apart , slowly increasing although you should never encounter pain or discomfort . I used to soak my foreskin in warm water and then have it stretched between two fingers in opp direction esp at the part that would be a little uncomfortable when I retracted. Over a few days it did get better but was not resolved . So I went to a doc and had the circ as I had a short frenulum as well which needed operative management. Hope this helped !
