Lumps under scar line

11 days post circumcision and the frenulum area is very slow to recover from swelling.

I have also noticed that there are bumps and lumps under the scar line on the outer foreskin (under the frenulum) probably from cauterization. one actually looks like a mole which is not very eye pleasing .

will these fade away with time? if so how long will it generally take?

will I be needing revision to get rid of these lumps?

much appreciated help

Bumps and lumps are usually due to inflammation caused due to the suture entry and will subside over a few weeks . Also some may just be cautery like you said. All of these will subside and even out over time . Right now it may look pretty bad but it will end up being better and no need for revisions . Let the area heal and after 4-5 weeks you can use a moisturiser and slowly massage the area . Also bio oil seemed to lighten the scars for many people. I have also had bumps and even blisters that evened out over time. Cheers !

thank you very much. my stitches are still very much in and should start dissolving roughly by when?

and should I wait for it to be suture free to start on anti scar oils?

The stitches may take anywhere around 2-3 weeks to get reabsorbed or dropped off. They might even persist for longer and if they cross around 5-6 weeks would definitely get it removed . And yes definitely wait for the incision site to completely heal and in my opinion for the swelling to also go down before applying any oil. Also the oil seems to lighten the scar only so it might not eradicate the scar entirely. All the best !

how many days are you post surgery and how much have you recovered? like 100% being completely healed circumcision with no swelling?

I am almost 2 months 2 weeks past the op and i was fully recovered by 5-6 weeks. My swelling lasted almost till 3 weeks after the prcoedure but the margins evened out well in the 2nd month with only a healthy looking scar remaining now .

wow that is awesome news. I am in to week two and already seeing a dry wound and swelling reduction.

wow. amazed to hear that you made a full recovery in 5 to 6 weeks. I can't wait.

are you still using bio oil?

what was your reason for the procedure?

what's your ethnicity? (cos I think some ethnic groups heal faster)

how has sex/masterbation been?

Yeah true . It will look even better later on ! I used bio oil for 2-3 weeks after I was 5 weeks from the op.

I was suggested for the op for having a short frenulum and recurrent Balanoposthitis .

Sexual activities post circumcision have been amazing . Now I don't have the restriction that had pulled me back over the years and I seem to be having more stronger climaxes for some reason . Also I also had sensitivity issues before which have totally disappeared . So all in all I don't regret it at all . All my problems have subsided and now I feel like I am normal .

actually I have no sensitivity issues thanks to having a habit of rolling up my foreskin to expose the glans all the time. so the glans has been significantly desensitized to handle situations. I felt it was beneficial as I could have longer more intense sex. so the reason to get circ was to have a fix to the foreskin rolling in and out and avoid a nasty fungal infection that kept recurring and gave my partner UTI after intimacy.
