Circumcision help?

I’m 22 and I think I need a circumcision and was wondering what the experience has been like for anyone that’s had it ?

I have trouble pulling back my foreskin due to Phimosis and the steroid creams I’ve tried have not really affected me; So it fells like a final resort.

You have to apply tension to the opening to enlarge it. Steroids only make the skin more pliable. phimosisjourney.com/

Well everything works it’s just a struggle to pull the foreskin all the way back and gets quite painful when I try it .

Do everything you can to Correct the the phimosis without circumcision. I wish I did. Circumcision is good in many ways but the unknowns of how you’re healing process/procedure/sexual sensitive/ recovery time may not be worth the risks. Many people heal quickly with few complications others deal with swelling, hypersensitivity like I am and I’m on my 4th month. Masturbating is still super uncomfortable and many people say it can take 5months to about 13 months for swelling and sensitivity to calm down. Some complain about lose of sexual sensitivity. I wish I knew more about treating my phimosis before making the decision of circumcision. There are a lot of positives of circumcision , it’s easier to clean, looks good but still swollen, wife likes it and the way it feels way more. I think in the end I’ll enjoy it but the process is rough. Also the physiological stress they don’t talk to you about can be tough to get through. I’m sure I’ll be happy once it’s all healed up but I also wish I knew the risks in detail otherwise I would of been more diligent bout trying to stretch the skin anyway possible to correct the phimosis. Try a Dorsal slit first before a full circumcision.

I'd second all of that advice. Pros and cons, but not to be taken lightly if your doctor can help sort it without an op.

Corticoid creams help only 30% of men. The cream didn't help me. I tried to stretch for 2 years. Nothing :-(. Just only unpleasant sex.

For circumcision, the most important choose the right doctor. I recommend a private clinic. Not the hospital. "High tight circumcision" leaves most of the sensitivity. After circumcision I kept everything dry and disinfected and it healed quickly and without pain.

Beware of loose and low circumcision. There is long healing and greater loss of sensitivity. Therefore, maybe vegas12 problem.

Go for it, you will never be sorry, and later in life you will be glad you did. I'm speaking from experience, I waited until I was 77 and if I had known I could have had it done, I would have had it done at your age.
