How long after circumcision are night time erections likely to be painful?

Just got cut yeaterday and experienced my first sleep last night, woke up 3 seperate times with painful erection, i know this is to be expected but just wondering roughly how long you guys have had it painful for?

And just to note, i stopped drinking any fluids for four or five hours before bed, i emptied my bladdder and put ice on it too.

Best I remember, they were painful for about 10 days, and uncomfortable for about another 10. The first week was the worst though.

I'm on day 13 and the painful ones went away maybe 3-4 days ago. Now it's just uncomfortable but I feel like it's getting better everyday. One thing that helped me I think was talking some ibuprofen when I went to bed and again when I woke up at 2ish. Also when I wake up with an erection, I go pee to empty my bladder again.

Whatever you do DON'T take any sleeping aids. I took melatonin one night hoping it would help and it made it harder for me to wake up so once I did wake from my erection it was super painful.
