Around 6 months for me.

My surgeon said sometimes it takes 1 to 2 years before it stops changing. The swelling has gone down a lot in 6 months for me.

Is he saying it can take up to two years for the swelling to go?

I some cases for it entirely to go. But most of it will probably go within 6 months.
