Hi All, About a month ago I notice some red points on my pennis so I go to the doctor and he prescribe to wash my pennis two times with domeboro, after two weeks I see no results, so I go to the doctor again they run blood tests and urine tests but all had negative results so they prescribe me fucidin and Ciprofloxacino, I take all the dosis, with fucidin I no longer have the red points but there is still inflammation and some times redness, I have 3 weeks using fucidin. I had read in many web sites that balanitis only longs 3-7 days, so I'm really worry about why I'm not recovering for it, my hygiene had been rigorous and I'm trying to not consume sugar. any experiences about this? thank you for your comments.

Balanitis heal time
Sometimes people with penis problems wash their penises with products that actually irritate the penis.
Since nothing is getting better, logic tells us that your problem isn't bacterial. More often, balanitis is thrush, another name for a yeast infection. Currently Clotrimazole is the drug most often used to combat it. It's available over the counter. We know it as Athlete's Foot Cream, but it's also used in vaginal yeast creams. Following label instructions should get you results. If this lingers on, see a dermatologist.
Remaining is the question of how you got it. Washing with soap disturbs the natural bacterial balance, thus allowing yeast to flourish. Secondly, unprotected sex with an infected partner. Thirdly, diabetes. You mentioned cutting back on sugar. Is sugar a possible problem?
Hey, how is the problem now? I had red spots, which went away after 10 days using clotramizol. Then for 3 weeks I had redness which my girlfriend said seemed normal but I still chose to not have sex. I’ve just been prescribed fusidic cream to try and get rid of this problem once and for all.
Did you find a solution?
