post circumcision

Hi there, swelling and some bleeding is to be expected in the early days (weeks for the swelling) so try not to panic. If you're really worried make sure to consult with a doctor. I had stitches rather than staples. You got this. We're all here.
As Arclight1979 said..hang in there. Bleeding would typically happen due to night erections straining the operated area. Took 2 months for my ring inflammation to go away.
You will see a rapid improvement once the stapler ring falls off. Happened on about day 16-17 for me.
Night time erections were when I bled too. Woke up with spots of blood on the loose bandage I wore at nights for about two weeks until the wound closed, then the stitches fell out and it all began to feel better and the swelling subsided. Time is the healer. It's not an easy operation to recover from (physically and mentally), but you'll soon notice improvements and feel better in yourself.
Remember that healing from any surgery is a marathon, not a sprint. It will take time and may look a real mess for the first few weeks but then gradually improve.
At only 8 days after your circumcision you are still very early in your healing time. Things will improve a lot in and from week 2.
Remember that the healing is a marathon, not a sprint!
