[Urgent] need help CPPS issue. I am in pain for a one year
Have you seen a doctor about this?
I can only tell you my experience which may not apply to you. I suffered badly too. Almost as a last resort my GP prescribed Amitriptyline and increased the dose a couple of times. Not an easy drug to take but I persevered and it worked a treat and I became pain free. To cut a long story short, after being on the drug a few years I weaned myself off and low and behold no pain.
Im sorry to hear that you are suffering. I lived thru hell with severe pain in my whole pelvic region and was miss diagnosed for years, until I contacted Dr. Renaud Bollens.
He held a consultation with me and advised me to first try botox injection, which didn’t help. Then pudendal block which only helped for a short period.
After that we scheduled the surgery, and now 8 month's later Im living life 100% pain free.
Im very grateful to have found him, and I can’t say if it will help your problems but I would at least advise you to contact him and have an consultation, based on his knowledge and experience in this field.
He have an youtube channel with lots of information to, but his website is pudendalsurgery.com
I hope you get some answers and soon have a wonderful life free from pain 🙏.
I suffered for decades with CPPC and found that attacking it from multiple fronts was key to overcoming it. Perhaps the best thing I did was work on pelvic tension that I had unknowingly created over the course of years of pain. Seeing a physiotherapist (physical therapist) who specialized in pelvic floor helped me learn stretches and relaxation techniques as well as something called trigger point release that helped relax the muscles that my prostate sat on. This also helped me ejaculate more "completely" rather than ejaculating through a "closed door" which took pressure off the prostate. Some cases of CPPC are thought to be caused by congestion in the prostate due to inefficient emptying during ejaculation, so pelvic floor helped with that. I also addressed flares of prostatitis that seemed to be bacterial in nature with antibiotics with good results. Wishing you all the best. Happy to answer questions if you have any.
