Oh. Pardon the pun! I had a vasectomy in 2013 that at the time was apparently successful. I've recently tried to get my copy of the letter from my GP. However they haven't got it on file, does anyone know where a copy would be stored? I tried to contact the clinic I had the procedure at, but they don't have historic records. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

OT: I have heard that all inclusive national registers were not appropriate after WWII in some coutries like Germany and GB.
Nothing can be done here without enrolling it to log nowadays.
Do you all registered citizens of GB have a 'personal number'? We all have here like birthday 'ddmmyy+3numbers_and_hash'.
We have an NHS number. I've now exhausted all avenues. I'm currently following a FOI request. Hopefully urology or Andrology will have a copy of any letters sent. But I don't hold out much hope. Just got to wait and see I guess.
The clinic should have recent records and have passed a copy of your discharge letter to your GP.
What do I need to do to see a consultant, my GP says they cant refer me.
