Small red spot on inner foreskin

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has had a small red spot on their inner foreskin before? It's just below the glans. It's not sore or irritating but I'm just wondering if it's anything to see a doctor about or if gentle washing will solve itself?

I think you might have pearly penile papules. I have them totally normal even my dr said there is no cure because it doesn’t cause any harm but you can speak to a dermatologist to remove them. Most insurances don’t cover them.

Hey, cheers for the reply. That's not what it is because I have that on the shaft etc. I was cirumcusied and it's a red spot on my inner foreskin just the one only appeared two days ago. I'll upload a pic soon here for clarification

Well then go see your dr they might have something to help

Please get to your doc to examine your problem and get a diagnosis.

I was asking for advice incase anyone had any experience of this before. In NI there's a month waiting list for a GP appointment so advice here would help to see if I needed to visit A&E which isn't ideal as there is 7-8 hrs waiting times and we are told to avoid apart from medical emergencies.

This happened after a circumcision so I thought someone may have had a similar experience. I wasn't asking for a diagnosis

My reply was trying to be helpful and was in line with what Jaggedness said earlier. Similar experiences are not always helpful if you need to know whether to seek medical help or not. People might think they had what you have but as they are not doctors they cannot say so with any certainty.

I appreciate the reply and the sentiment, but the post was just to help me make up my mind that's all. Due to the excessive hassle of getting seen too it was worth checking as this forum has been very helpful to date 👍

It's shrinking and getting less red so could just be a spot just freaked me out a little. Thanks man
