I am on Week 9 after my circumcision on June 5th, 2020. I've noticed that at the base underneath the glans, it is still swollen. I am guessing this is the exposed part of the inner foreskin. Sensitivity has gone down a bit over the weeks, but I do wrap up when I go out.
Anyone else go through this issue? Does the swelling go down in time?

I’m on day 8 and my inner foreskin is very swollen, my Dr. saw me yesterday for my first post op and she said this was normal, she told me it might take up to a full year for me to see the final results, yours does look a bit swollen, is this causing you pain or discomfort?
At times, yes, like extra sensitivity like a wound at times, or subtle burning. My hopes are that it will calm down in time. I check in with my urologist every two weeks. It is getting better through time.
As Agrandanimal says, swelling can take from weeks to months to finally go away. If it is causing you pain or discomfort then please discuss it with your doctor.
Will do. I schedule checkups every two weeks for progress. Taking a picture brought attention to the bumps of the bottom of the glans. I will bring that up with the doc also.
They tend to always be there, people are born with them, they’re not a defect, however if you’re self conscious about the appearance, you can get them lasered off, from what I understand it’s a cosmetic procedure and fairly painful. I have some and to be honest I’ve never had anyone make a comment or be put off by them, and I’ve been sexually active for over 25 years.
Thank you for the feedback. I won't worry over them now.
I'm fine with them. I only noticed them when I took the picture. As long as they don't give me any sensitivity issues, I am not troubled with them being there. I figure I had them while I was uncircumcised also, and they never bothered me then.
Following up on this post. I am starting month 7 after surgery. The swelling has gone down and I have gotten use to my inner foreskin folding up under my glans. Everything is fine.
It is still a bit sensitive, so I wear a soft jock strap with my underwear to minimize rubbing. I do not apply vaseline or wrap the glans anymore like i have in the first 5 months. Bit by bit, it is getting less sensitive.
