Post Circumcision Frenulum ‘bump’

I’m gonna post this here too as I previously posted in normal forum and not “penis health” forum.

I was recently circumcised last week on Wednesday at the age of 18 and all was well as I previously had a dorsal slit which didn’t give the desired result.

I know this will take longer to heal but is it normal for the frenulum to look like this after the surgery? There is a small bump near the top of the frenulum and when I wear dressing overnight to keep it all in place I wake up with some clear-ish yellow stains on the dressing and until recently it was bleeding too from that area.

I went to get it checked on Wednesday and they said that the discharge was nothing to worry about and was expected. My main concern is the bump shown in the photos and the pain I feel when I touch it or it touches my pants and how when I wake up the dressing seems to take off any healing that’s taken place overnight because it sticks to those areas. I feel like the healing process is just constantly being reversed each night because of this.

Any thoughts?

I asked the Dr about it during the follow up visit and he told me that the excess skin is the frenulum that he cut back but didn't remove. Apparently there are a lot of nerve ending in the frenulum that could cause a loss of sensation so he keeps the skin but just moves it back slightly which is what causes the bulge of skin. In the picture, it was still a bit swollen. There is still a bit of excess skin under the head of my penis and it's more noticeable when flaccid. When erect, I hardly notice it.

Are u able to get full rock solid erevtions or yiu just have weak erections? Mine looks like yours.

What kind a dorsal slit did you had ? Like I had a complete dorsal slit , longitudinal cut almost 1 month ago
