Hey everybody. Ive been circumcised for almost 3 months now and am still concerned with considerable swelling around frenulum. I no longer experience any pain or discomfort and have no trouble with masturbation but i’m still aware of this ever-present issue. Does this seem like normal progress?
FYI... when erect it is considerably better but still worse then other posts i’ve seen with less time healed.

I was circumcised back on 3rd of June this year and I am also still swollen and it looks very similar to your swelling in your picture, especially at the frenulum. My doctor told me that it can take up to 5-6 months (and even more for some men) for the swelling to go down. Unfortunately, our bodies all heal at different time frames and it may take awhile before the swelling goes down. Best of luck to ya.
Did he say it can take a year?
He told me the longest it took for one of his patients was about 13 months for it to go down so it’s very possible that it can take a year, just depends on our bodies.
Hi, I’ve got circumcised 3 month ago and I’m still swallen under glans in frenlum, anyone got experience with that ? My glans is also still very sensitive.
Mine wasn't as swollen as yours, but it did take about 5 months for things to clear up completely. Be patient with it. The wait is well worth it, and you'll love how it will eventually look and feel. Congrats!

Hi, I'd give it more time it could take six months to a year but if it doesn't clear you could have it removed I had something similar it was worse when I was flaccid I didn't like the look of it so I had it removed.
How did you have to removed? Was it drained out?
Remove it means frenuloctomy, frenulum will lose function on circumcised male. For me after my cosmetic circumcision my frenulum is merely a vestigial piece. So I got it removed for a smooth underneath penis look.
I'm convinced my "frenulum" is just a piece of skin that was sewn on for cosmetic purposes. Totally numb - no sensitivity at all.
No I had it surgically removed the swelling had gone down and I was left with a piece of skin which didn't look right and possibly had some LS still so we decided to remove it. I had like 4 stitches and it healed up in 2 weeks.
Hi Mac I think I have stitches on my frenulum and this is my day 3 after circumcision and on day 3 early in the morning due to erection when I was sleeping I felt a pain and also felt some think got disattached from my head penis. When I saw the back side of the penis it was bleeding from frenulum.
My doctor said it OK and I can see blood at the back side my penis too.
Layer when ever I get erection I can feel the pain. Will this pain go away in coking weeks or it will say could you please guide me or any one for that matter please help me out am scared as hell.😟
Hi Man, that can happen it's very Common for it to bleed there and you can have some lymphatic fluid coming from there as well. it should dry up in a few days you are only on day 3 so you have a bit of healing to go.
So don't worry man just keep everything clean you can wash gently with some salted water. I know it's hard to avoid night-time erections if you sleep on your side with your knees bent forward in the fetal position it should help to reduce any erections you will get at night.
Yes Mac I can see water like fluid coming from that frenulum. I think my stitch got popped up on frenulum am.not sure though but I felt it. I am taking all medications what my doctor has priscribed hope I will be OK in coming weeks. My only issue is the erection and the pain is horrible I know every one face this issue 😊

Mac one more question one I get healed with my frenulum if I get indulge in sex again will it get tare the skin of the frenulum again am afraid about this any idea will it or is there any precaution we can take....
You probably shouldn't have sex for at least 6 weeks and maybe more if not healed properly. when you do start back you would need to use lots of lube this will help to avoid any possible injury.

how are you , its my day 6 after my zsr circumcision. I am facing a lot of issues with swelling OK my penis which is stretching my clips and it hurts like hell when it stretch back, because of this issue I am.not able to sleep properly as my penis swells the skin gets stretched and my stitches or clips make me feel horrible any suggestions what can be done.
My clips are still intact I don't see any one falling off.
I have removed my bandage and after bath I have dressed again with cotton and tape do we need to dress again after bath or shall I let loose the would but I think it hurts please guide me thank you!!
Hi, swelling can be an issue after circumcision it does go down in time. erections can also be a problem at night-time there's not really much you can do about them only to get up maybe or bending your knees up to your tummy can help.
I'm not that familiar with the zsr circumcision I think you don't have stitches around your incision but maybe some at your frenulum I don't see a photo on your post one would help to explain things better.
If you don't have any weeping from the wounds and you don't have too much sensitivity you could leave the bandages off and see how it goes if it's too sensitive you can put the dressing back on it would help to desensitize it if you could leave it off.

Actually as i said i guess i popped my stitches on my frenulem on day 3 morning due to erection which i didnt realised , but it was bleeding heavily from frenulem on 3rd day i hold it for about 5 to 10mins and bleeding stooped but saw few spotting on 3rd day . Today am on 6th day and i dont see any bleeding from stitches place. imI am just afraid that as stitches popped from frenulem on 3rd day will it be nesessary to get stitches on frenulem or it will get heal by itself in coming days?

As today is my 6th day i hope stitches/clips will go off in another 10 days.
Try coconut oil on your frenulum. It has helped me greatly every time my frenulum gets irritated. Make sure it is unrefined and organic. Just dab it on in a clump. In addition try eating more yogurt in your diet.
Had my op 6 weeks ago June 28th my frenulum is still very sensitive and tender have 2 little meaty lumps under the glans is very uncomfortable at times still hurts when rubbing against anything really honest don't really think even coconut oil is working i know some guys says its the best thing they have done but beginning to think now this is my worst experience just thankful don't have a partner couldn't put up with someone demanding sex from me.
Hey brotha how’s your experience now? I felt the same way about mine and as it heals it’s been getting better. I’m on my 4th month but the sensitivity is still super uncomfortable when rubbed. I’m seeing a lot of people freak out in the first months then like it after everything calms down. Just want to see how your experience has been since your last post.
Hey bro, I’m almost at 2 weeks after my circumcision and my frenulum area is super tender to the point where it gives me a shocking discomfort when I sit or when anything rubs against it. I know it’s been a couple years since your post but can you reply and let me know how long it took for you to heal in that area. I would really appreciate it. Thanks

this is the same as for me the wound around the frenulum is fine but there is still swelling but not big and painful.
