Post circumcision care.

I am on my 5th day of post circumcision and I use hydrogen peroxide and iodine to clean the wound I also use BNT antibiotics cream to dress it and wrap it with grazes. However when I'm changing the dressing the grazes tends to stick to the wound and cause bleeding, is there any way I can prevent this from happening?

You might use too strong ointments if there is no infection on the wound. Strong hydroxen peroxide and 10% iodine can slow the healing process. Shower and some "salt bath" are enough.

Don’t use antiseptics on the wound. It can kill bacteria but also kill newly growing skin cells as well. If you are worried there is infection, call you doctor. If not, washing with a mild soap and warm water is enough.

Try applying a generous smear of Vaseline all over the penis before applying the bandage to avoid anything sticking to the wound.

Jesus , hydrogen peroxide on penis ? Never , use Dermol 200 to wash , thats it . Apply 7 days Fusidic acid or fucidin to avoid post op infections . Water and Dermol is fine . Also after 3 days is okay to leave the penis breathe you bandaging it all the time will not help proper recovery.
