Honestly mate it won't be as bad as you think just make sure you keep the area nice and clean don't pick at the stitching the frenulum area takes abit longer to heal use warm salt water and definitely keep your mind busy no porn or girls it will be fine.

Does the frenulum take longer to heal if you get it removed?

Good luck bro. I had mine 2.5 weeks ago and healing is going well except for some swelling that is slowly going down. Let me know how it goes

I think I want to keep my frenulum

Remove it, recovery isnt bad really just be careful and take it easy and relax

Make sure you ask for your penis to be circumcised exactly as you want it - high or low, tight or loose. It’s your penis so you want to be happy with how it looks and feels.

My advice is that it will feel worth it.

A few weeks afterwards you might need to be aware of rubbing of the glans on your underwear . I learned that wearing trainer socks and a groin guard helped support it whilst healing. I had four weeks off work.

I ll get a further cut next year as. The surgeon did not do a good job..i had it done privately but in retrospect would have gone to.a specialist doctor.who does circs all the time

I’m not worried about rubbing of the glans because I already keep my foreskin back to keep the glans exposed

in reply to

I could do the same and as a result my circumcision was completely pain free and instantly more comfortable apart from the occasional prickly stitch

Whereabouts is your procedure being done?

Congratulations on your decision to get circumcised. It's normal to have anxiety before hand., and I had it too. Nothing to be afraid of, and adult circumcisions have few complications. Think about. all the positive the benefits of being circumcised.

Circs can be done with or without frenulum removal. Its entirely up to you. Take advice from your surgeon if in doubt.

I’m about 2 and a half hours north or Los Angeles. I talked with someone at Dr. Nourparvar’s office and they said he prefers to do the Shang ring and by what people have told me on here is that you do not heal any faster from the Shang ring and i want a high and tight cut and people on here who have been cut with the Shang ring say you can’t get a high and tight cut with it.

I understand completely. My circumcision is scheduled for Monday the 21st just a few days away and I'm very anxious.

Not what you're looking for?
