Day 27 post circumcision swelling is bad!

Hi, I’m at day 27 post circumcision. It’s swelling really bad (u can see the pic). Will this ever go away or do I have to live with it?

Hey man I got cut six weeks ago and I pretty much have the same type of swelling as you do. The inner foreskin is pink and puffy but gradually going down. From what I understand it could take several months to be fully back to normal but as long as you’re seeing progress don’t worry it’s a long road

How is your swelling now? Did it go down a bit from week 4 to week 6?

Yes but not as fast as I would like. I still have residual inner foreskin swelling but it’s going down slowly. Send me a pm if you want to chat more

I had all of them removed, keeping compression bandage I hope the swelling sill go down

5 months update: the swelling has gone down and looks ok when erect

I notice you said looks ok when erect? How does it look flaccid? Only ask as I’m getting in touch with DR Khan soon to get a circumcision.

One of the problems often encountered when any of the inner foreskin is retained is excessive swelling during healing. This is because the mucus membrane of the inner foreskin is much more susceptible to even minor trauma.

Remember that any teen or adult circumcision is going to take 6-8 weeks to fully heal and much of the swelling goes in the latter stages of healing.

At only 27 days into your circumcision, you still have a long way to go to full healing.

The swelling has gone down 80% now (after 5 months) and it’s getting better. Don’t worry guys it takes time to heal. Relax and don’t think about it.

It's my 6th week after circumcision but still swelling is there just like your old pic. Can I go for sex with swelling? I am afraid of it

You can try sex but take it slowly. The swelling will go down with time (6 months-1y I think). Just relax and don’t think about it you will be fine.

Because it's my 22nd day, little swelling is still there and I feel hell of tightness while masturbating. Is it due to swelling or I am having any problem ?
