Getting circumcised tomorrow

Hi, I have a short penile frenulum and little tight foreskin. When my penis is fully erect it cause hard to full foreskin all the way back but anyway, I am getting circumcised tomorrow. Was hoping if you could all give me some tips if you went through it?

STOP and think again. Never go for full Circumcision.

Go for partial Circumcision/high-loose cut that covers yours glans to an extent to give you comfortable retraction and keep frenulum sensual sensitivity.

It also gives you the opportunity to do revision surgery if situation arises.

Full Circumcision is dead end, Results are irreversible. One shot.

Tony7music obviously has a strong and negative opinion on circumcision. Make your choice with your doctor. I personally would want to have a moderately high and tight cut where you retain more if not all of the sensitive inner foreskin. But your doctor can advise you based on your personal anatomy what style best suits you.

Make sure you get good concise after care instructions from your doctor before you leave. ie, How you clean it, when to remove the Bangladesh, should it not get wet for certain number of days, what to do when you get erections, what to look for in terms of infection and when should you call the Dr office immediately if you notice anything like that.

You may notice a lot of men come here for advice on what to do about infection that has set in, pus, extreme swelling, scabbing over the stitches, etc.. these issues can be largely related and caused by poor or no after-care instructions.

Ask your doctor about using Vaseline or petroleum jelly to keep the scarline moist. Scabs forming are not good to the healing process. Ask your doctor. Look it up online. A lot of men on here think scabs are just essential to the healing process. It’s the opposite.

I’ll suggest you read my post again. I’m not against Circumcision. I’m against FULL kind of tight Circumcision. Even if you have high cut that is exposed over time your sensitivity loses.

You clearly have been brainwashed by your doctor or cosmetic freaks. It’s a industry just like butt implants. Doctors do what you tell them to do. The idea of ‘what’s good looking Style’ will soon turn to regret whenever he tries to have intercourse for an hour and still face hard time to ejaculate.

Tight cuts can lead to pressure buildup during erection in some cases not all of them. we all have different bodies thing can and cannot work. that little loose skin gives that leverage. It’s also possible he may get the best results with highorlow/tight but what if it doesn’t?

I have seen so many cases where it doesn’t work and it’s irreversible.

Truth begs to be told.

Congratulations on your decision! I was nervous the day before. I would say, try to relax and see the experience in a positive way. You can talk with the staff and ask questions. Mine was cut high and loose and I love it. Might have liked a little more removed, but the Urologist said; "better too loose, than too tight". It was six months ago, and it's been a turning point in my life.

How much of your foreskin covers the glans in flaccid state and does it retract completely when erect ?

It really depends on if it's cold or not. Usually it stays retracted, but if it's cold enough, it can cover half the glans or more. When erect, the foreskin is completely retracted.

Update: mine was just done I came out of surgery like an hour ago, however not able to pass urine was wearing sore throat because they used general anaesthesia. Anyone else had trouble passing urine, hospital saying they won’t let me leave until I pass urine now waiting for my doctor

Yea the passing urine is normal, they want to make sure everything works.

They usually offer you a drink or two, when you ready go to loo, sit down if possible and relax. Don't force it.

It can be a long road but you will get through it.

Yeah it feel weird I can see little blood dot and little urine does come not just little drop but that’s it but I am still waiting to have a proper pee

Update: after drinking two bottles and walking a little I was able to pass urine however my bandage is wet I am still waiting for doctor to come see and nurse to say something be idk they taking ages I have been here since 11:30 am and it’s 8PM now

Also, be sure to bring your own food if you are vegan or lacto vegetarian. I haven’t eaten anything since 6:50 am this morning when I ate cereal. Even tho, I told hospital before about my diet they still have no food -.-. Also, I did not tell anyone (family or friend that I am getting circumcised, I guess I am kinda embarrassed) so yeah

How are you getting on? Up to you who you tell of course, but circumcision is nothing to be embarrassed about. As a kid I was always very happy for the other boys at school to see it and my sons are the same. Anyway, I hope it’s progressing well.

Hi,try keeping him in an upright position as much as you can and you could try some ice to reduce the swelling.

Yeah some guys say not to use it after the first day or to but I think it doesn't do any harm. I did it and I think it helped

Hi, I think mine is swelling but no that much but it is very sensitive. However, I do feel mild discomfort sometimes but other than that it is going great.

Update: anyone of you ever woke up feeling like your penis is about to get erect, it happened to me twice now. Where my penis would try to get erect and I would wake up feeling little discomfort around the stitches.

Let me enlighten your ignorant understanding of the subject. Human beings are not iPhones that comes out from a factory with exact same results. We’re all different.

Many full circumcised patients have positive feedback about the procedure but there are also cases where patients have experienced pressure in the penis after getting full circumcision because they lost too much skin not to mention the vast majority of people lost sensual sensation forever (frenulum and sensual foreskin) required for orgasm and guess what ? it’s irreversible.

Adult circumcision is different from child circumcision. Child Penis size is not fully grown, sensual sensitivity is not yet explored but still full circumcision creates so many complications, it should not be exercised.

Partial circumcision only removes the phimotic ring (25% of foreskin) which obstructs the retraction. During erection all skin retracts and stays loose on shaft not only creating less friction in strokes but leverage the room for skin in pressured tight erection. You surely have no idea what it feels like to have full circumcision complications not considering the surgical mistakes. I know lot of individuals who had and can’t do anything about it.

I also know there are techniques out there but it can take years to grow foreskin.

It’s better to stay safe than sorry.
