Circumcision update - infection

So after being very swollen, I have not felt well for the past few days (light headed, aching etc) and took my temperature and it was very high.

I saw a doctor this evening and she confirmed that I have infection in two stitches, one at the front and one at the back.

Very frustrating to say the least, I’m now on antibiotics and have been told to do nothing for a few days.

If anyone has any advice it would be appreciated.

Should I change the bandage every day? Should I clean it gently just by running water over it and then change the bandage?

What’s the best way to sleep? I’m currently wide awake at 1.45am as I can’t sleep because it feels so heavy and uncomfortable

Thanks
