Obviously everyone heals differently, for me I'm nearly 4 weeks post circumcision and I'm about 80% of the way back to normality I would say. So as for work, I would say it depends what kind of work you do, if its a physical job you may struggle, I would take 2 weeks off for that. If it's like a desk job or something, 1 week should be good. I would definitely consider using a loose bandage around it during the day as it'll keep you more comfortable.
I would say after 1 week you can go out for meals etc and visit friends, as long as you're not doing anything too physical. The only issue you'll really feel is the sensitivity - for this I would recommend wearing tight briefs/boxers as it keeps things in place.
As for your graduation you'll be completely fine. You'll find that the sensitivity in particular will just completely randomly vanish one day, even though now it may feel like it'll never go away.
Congrats on graduating and if you need anyone to speak to regarding this, feel free to message me on here!
Hey! I just wore the one layer of bandaging, quite loosely with some Vaseline on it, this will stop it sticking, as you'll experience, when the tip sticks to your underwear or a bandage, it's quite uncomfortable.
Unfortunately for the night time erection side of things, you just kind of have to bare it until the stitches dissolve. For me it was more of a tightness than pain, but they are very annoying. I found that the erection side of things got much better at 1-2 weeks.
My advice for when you do get an erection, is go on your side and bring your legs to your chest like a fetal position, it actually weirdly helps with the annoying feeling and makes your erection go away faster - either that or walk around for a bit.
Happy to answer anything else you need, I know it's quite a lonely journey!
go said it would be all healed and painless in 5 weeks. I’m in my seventies and that was a lie. I was still in pain afterv12 weeks.. I found that my cricket box was a great help to prevent contact.
Depending on your age, healing will be faster than slower, in younger men the healing process is significantly faster. Everyone heals differently I suppose. For my particular case, as a 24 year old, I never had any pain at all.
