How long should I keep redressing after circumcision?

I can’t seem to find this information anywhere. My initial bandage came off after 24hrs. I’m re bandaging and lightly washing every day. So I’m now on day 4. Still bruised and swollen and some slight spotting in dressings. One small open split but nurse said it’s ok.

But should I still be using bandages? Or should my penis be without a bandage letting air get to it?

I had stapler Circumcision 2 weeks ago. Was advised not to wet the wound for the first 6 days, and only allowed to wash after that 6 days. Wound had to be redressed for 3 times a day, for additional 2 weeks.

Hi, it's probably best to dress the wound until it is completely healed and there is no weeping plus the stitches can get caught in clothes. however if you are just at home you could leave it on bandaged if you are just resting. it's also a good idea to gently wash with some salted water in a small bowl and then shower no soaking in a bath.

Not very much you don't want it too strong just having it tastes like sea water is fine not any stronger

I kept mine lightly wrapped in gauze for a couple weeks after the incision line had healed just for cushion during daily activities. Left it exposed overnight.
