Hi everyone, I’m now three weeks post-circumcision and everything is healing really well. Most of the stitches are out and I’ll be visiting the specialist next week to check up on the recovery. I understand that it is recommended not to participate in physical activity for six weeks, however I feel like I’d be okay to play a non-contact sport. I’m normally super active so it’s killing me not being able to play! When did you all start playing sport again post-circumcision?

Well personally I would book appointment to see a nurse and get the other stitches removed. I’ve had mine removed on day 15. I would suggest see to see what nurse say or a doctor.
Hi. I only had partial circumcision but play squash twice a week. I didn’t play for a week after operation but needed to do sport so started again even before my stitches came out in week two. I wore a sports jockstrap thinking that was right but the fabric was rough and it wasn’t great so wore really tight cotton type cycle shorts under my squash shorts and had no problems. To be fair there wasn’t much swelling but the shower after was more difficult with the wound than the games.
