I had my surgery ( circumcision on the 6th August 2019 ) it is now the 15th August therefore I am on day 9 and it’s healing really well , all the stiches are still intact but was just curious how long does the swelling ring below the glands last ? And how long does it take for the stiches to dissolve?

The area between the corona and the cut line is inner foreskin remnant, and it is very susceptible to swelling after trauma. It may take several more weeks to subside. You can use ice packs meanwhile. Apply for 15-20 min, then rest an equal time.

I had it done on 11th June and have had some complications but the swelling was gone after 4 weeks.

Ah rightio man and the stiches were all gone ? And what were the complications as I’m on my second week?

It got infected which slowed down the healing process. My stitches weren’t there after around 3 weeks but I wasn’t fully healed.

I did use ice cubes a couple times a day too just cooling the area.

Honestly, I was worried about everything but it’s all normal. Go to the GP. They put my mind at rest straight away. Or if you have a number for your surgeon even better.
