Very high cut

I thought this was interesting. I finally figured out my scarline. The black line indicates the divide between the inner foreskin and the non-existent shaft skin. It kind of looks like a v type circumcision lol. I still think it’s interesting that this much inner foreskin could be preserved after a circumcision as an infant. I am happy with how much inner foreskin was left intact, but it appears that no shaft skin was left. It appears that below the black line is scrotal skin. Any thoughts? How could a circumcision as an infant remove all the shaft skin while maintaining this much inner foreskin. I have been told that I have enough of a mucous membrane to cover my glans had I been left with enough shaft skin.

Do you grow much when erect?

If you do the only place to get the skin would be the scrotum whish would make everything kind of tight.

As far as the high cut goes...

Some circumcisions in Japan and Korea have the cut right at the abdomen. Unless fully shaved you can't see the scar line.

Yes I am a major grower. Please see an erect picture of my penis:

I have many more examples of my penis that you can take a look at.

Saw the rest of your pictures. You're not half bad either.

Oh, incidently, I'm following you now.

Interesting. I heard about that cut. They remove a ring at the base of the penis. Although this type of circumcision preserves the sensory tissue, it would destroy the natural penal-scrotal junction. I also believe this type of circumcision would increase the rate of inflammation of the scrotum, which may cause issues with the testicles in the future. I restored my foreskin for 6 months. It was even tighter before this picture lol. They removed to much from my circumcision. I have seen enough penises to know that mine is not normal. I had no choice as I was experiencing discomfort in my scrotum. Restoring for 6 months have allowed my scrotum to become more relaxed and comfortable.

in reply to At1012

This particular style is done with high precision by the doctors. It would more than likely be considered "cosmetic surgery" rather than your average run-if-the- mill circumcisions. Even shaved the scar is barely visible. They take into account if you are a grower or a shower. So there isn't a scrotal skin issue (most of the time).

Nice, I’m happy you are following me lol. Thanks for the compliment on my penis lol. I am happy with the amount of inner foreskin on the underside of my penis. I noticed that I have some remnants of the ridge band. It has a very similar sensation to my finger tips. For me I needed to stretch the skin for 6 months, so that I could be comfortable. My testicles were hurting regularly, but I am so happy my scrotum is relaxed now.

I am jewish, so a mohel did my circumcision. It makes me feel better that it was closer to the cosmetic level. My dads circumcision looked different than mine and I always wondered why mine was different. I love having the inner foreskin over the shaft skin, if I could choose lol. One negative is that I have never found a decent pair of underwear that made me comfortable. I am so protective of my penis. Wearing a belt has been uncomfortable. But I will take the discomfort with the increased sensitivity any day.

in reply to At1012

Somehow when the mohel put the clamp on you he pulled the outer foreskin too tight. Usualy this would have resolved itself in puberty but I guess it didn't.

It amazes me the success rates both doctors and mohels have with infant circumcisions. They have to guess if the kid will be a grower or shower and then how much skin to remove. Now there are some intactivists who will say there's no such thing as a good circumcision.

in reply to At1012

Looking back at your picture the mohel didn't use a clamp. Either the gomco or mogen clamps would have left a straight cut not the "V" cut you have. Your mohel must have also been a doctor and did a freehand cut that required stitches. your frenulum was left intact with the "V" cut.

Interesting, the mohel was 74 years old. When I asked my parents why they chose someone so old, they got defensive. This may explain why my cut is so strange. They didn’t use a clamp. They pushed the skin forward without breaking the adhesions followed by putting the Magen shield on followed by cutting off the redundant foreskin. I asked my dad, since he was watching the whole time and he said the mohel pulled the skin from the base of my penis. This may explain why an excessive amount of shaft skin was removed. Part of my frenulum tissue is located mid-shaft, which is strange. In addition I have remnants of the ridge band. These anti-circumcision and pro-circumcision people are both so biased. I am much more neutral on it because I know there are benefits, but at the same time there are genuine risks. Both sides are so biased. The anti-circumcision people will never admit that circumcision does have benefits. The pro-circumcision people downplay any risks to circumcision. I am all about developing an honest dialogue on circumcision. I think the tip of the foreskin should be cut off.

in reply to At1012

If he used the Magan shield, how did it end up looking like a "V" cut?

The Magan shield is just a clamp-on straight edge.

Good question lol. What I think happened is he just pulled the skin forward from the base of my penis and what ever was redundant was amputated. Since the mucous membrane is still fused to the glans at 8 days old, then what happened is that the majority of the tissue amputated was the outer foreskin and shaft skin because my mucous membrane tissue must have been extremely fused to my glans, which caused very little mucous membrane to be amputated. Maybe, another possibility, somehow I developed Para-phimosis at the circumcision, which then caused it to be uneven. This sounds like a small possibility haha.

How do you think this happened? What is your opinion?

in reply to At1012

I think your Mohel either needs glasses or stronger ones if he's wearing them.

You tell me, you were there, weren't you?

At1012 profile image
At1012 in reply to

I was, but I was circumcised at 8 days old, so I can only postulate what actually happened.

in reply to At1012

Looking back at the pictures in your stream, photo #

0A7F2B1A-9F2A-44AC-9913-8AEC7EC527AF

It looks more like an angle than a "V" cut. The Mohel was at your feet with your penis laying towards you, he then pulled the foreskin towards you from the bottom of your penis which was now facing up. He grabbed at about the base of your glans and pulled to the tip. He then put the slamp on. The top of the clamp was more towards him and he cut. So it was a combination of his pulling from the bottom and the clamp on a slight angle that resulted in this angle cut rather than a "V" cut.

Does that make any sense to you?

You are comparing my erect photo to my flaccid photo. This causes more distortion. The photo I have here specifies this characteristic of a v-cut that is asymmetric. It’s harder to see in the erect photos, but in flaccid photos, you can see it better.

At1012 profile image
At1012 in reply to

It doesn’t make sense because my penis would be facing the mohel when he pulls the skin from approximately the base of my penis.

in reply to At1012

OK then he pulled from the bottom from behind the glsns and then put the clamp on. the resulting cut would still look like I said. It would look like a "V" on the bottom and taper towards the front and meet. The taper may stop on the side and then go around to the front.

Ask to see a video ....

At1012 in reply to

Honestly it doesn’t really matter in the scheme of things, I just thought it was a strange cut lol. Unfortunately they never took a video of my circumcision. Are you circumcised or uncircumcised?

in reply to At1012

I'm intact but for as long as I can remember I've wanted to be circumcised.

I just can't stand pain nor have the patience to wait for the healing.

I've read just about everything available on the subject including all the pro's and con's to the proceedure. I've watched many, many videos from newborn to old men, from freehand to all the various clamps. I consider myself to be kind of an "armchair" expert on the subject. If only I could find the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise so I can fall to sleep intact and wake up the next morning circumcised and fully healed. I keep my foreskin retracted and have been able to convince my share of people that I was circumcised. If asked I will tell them I'm intact.

Back to you...

I've been looking ay this backwards. It was the top of your penis that the outer foreskin was pulled and clamped, not the bottom. That along with the adhesians, you most likely had, combined for that "V" cut effect/result.

You buy that version? We can only guess.

By the way, I was joking about watching your circumcision video, unless your dad did it like some fathers have been known to do. I think they do it for "shock" value when you bring a prospective fiance home to meet.

I think they put more tension on the upper part, but honestly I have no idea because how could so much shaft skin on the underside be removed. It’s so true, we could only postulate. Since you are uncut, when you masterbate, does your scrotum get pulled up at all? I am trying to understand how an uncut dick works. I guess it would depend on how much coverage a man has while erect. It would be great to see a picture of your uncut dick.

in reply to At1012

You've had access to mine since I saw yours. I faved one of your pics so you shouldn't have any problems finding me.

Since I have my glans exposed, when I masterbate the stroke starts toward the testicles and back to the glans. The foreskin doesn't go back over the glans, so no, no skin is pulled from the scrotum. Now if I intentionaly pull the skin from the base towards the tip, yes, the scrotal skin will move up the shaft. i have not posted a picture of my glans coved yet. Maybe I should but when totally flaccid I have an overhang of about a half inch. I also don't have one fully erect. I don't prefer looking at other's so I don't show mine.

I think they should cut off the tip of the foreskin. This is the perfect balence that allows personal choice and satisfies religion at the same time. This is what the biblical circumcision looked like verses the modern day circumcision:

fisheaters.com/circumcision...

What’s interesting is that in mine, they removed the shaft skin instead of the inner foreskin.

in reply to At1012

My version of the Bible also states the tip is cut off and that would be what is called the ridged band.

At1012 in reply to

Notice what it says at this verse: the circumcision must take place: “at the hill of the foreskin”. What this means is that it would be completely acceptable if part of the ridge band is left behind, like in my case. It is said like this to accommodate for different foreskin lengths. If someone has a shorter foreskin, then it would be impossible to amputate all of it without tearing the delicate mucous membrane from the glans, which should not be done. When they tear the delicate structure, this is when it becomes mutilation. Here is the verse:

“And Joshua made for himself sharp knives, and circumcised the children of Israel at the hill of the foreskins.”(Joshua 5:3).

Oh very interesting :)

How do you think that kind of circumcision would compare? The one they do in Africa. Where they grab the tip of foreskin on the north-south region and pull it forward and cut it off. Why would this type not be performed more often? I know that this is closer to the biblical circumcision because it’s only one cut and done.

Interesting analysis. My circumcision does not look normal at all compared with other Jewish ones I have seen because I am missing 95% of the shaft skin on the underside of my penis. My dad told me that they forced the shaft skin forward followed by cutting off as much as possible. I don’t think they did the second step on me because they removed so much tissue from my penis. Look at the underside of my penis, it seems that all the inner foreskin was preserved. My dad said they never pulled it back. What do you think? What looks like shaft skin on the underside is really scrotal skin that was forced forward because of the lack of shaft skin.
