Sudden development of a tight forsskin

I'm 57 and over the last few weeks my foreskin has become tight in fact to tight to be able to pull it back to wash properly any help with this one please

Hi Man, you should get checked with your doctor a sudden onset of phimosis would suggest you have a skin infection (balanitis are fungal yeast) don't leave it to long the sooner you have treatment the better.

Good call, if it were me I’d probably be thinking it was a symptom of something else. During my troubles I got tested for diabetes for example.

Hey, thank you for advice I will try it with the coconut first and see what happens, it has been bothering me I really don't want to get circumcised at 57. Any idea what may have caused this to happen in the first place??

This is extremely poor advice Hidden . Trying to stretch it like this could damage it further which is what happened to me. I got splits and tears in the foreskin which caused scarring and made it even tighter. A sudden change like this at 57 could be a symptom of something else. Passing this off as "an age thing" is totally irresponsible of you. You should always advise people to get checked by a professional.

sudden tightening is almost always caused by a yeast infection.Get some caneston(or similar spelling) creme for yourself and your partner.Sort the infection out and then stretch the skin,you won't need steroid creme to do this.

At your age it is possible that you have developed diabetis which increases sugar level in urine which allows yeast to grow

There always is the circumcision option. Its not a bad thing. In fact I prefer it this way. Mine was done at age 30.
