Sorry but a visit to the doctor is needed to assess the extent of the problem and what is required to get rid of the phimosis. It may be stretching with a prescribed steroid cream or circumcision. nhs.uk/conditions/phimosis/
When you cannot even retract it when soft then it seems to be a more „severe“ issue. There are possibilities to stretch and loosen it as you may have read in other posts, but you should indeed see a doctor.
How old are you? I wasn't able to pull back my foreskin until I was around 15 or so. My foreskin--when I had one--was "tight" but I guess not as tight as yours; I was able to pull mine back when I was soft. I couldn't pull it back while erect. That being said, I've had sex countless times like that.
Hi Man, the doctors are there to help us sometimes we have to go even if we don't want to. there are different treatments for phimosis your doctor will advise you probably starting with conservative treatment and maybe refer you on if they think it's best.
Hi, lie in a nice hot bath. Gently massage your penis and pull your foreskin back as far as you can and hold it there. Then release it then keep repeating this. Every time you go for a pee try to pull it back. Get some steroid cream from your doctor. Watch you don’t pull it past the head until it loosens. Keep trying soft and hard when you can. Mine stung a bit for a start but soon goes away. Don’t consider circumcision unless you have tried every other option.
The NHS states in its policy that circumcision should be a ‘...treatment of last resort for conditions such as a tight foreskin (phimosis) or recurring infections’.If home remedy of stretching and the use of steroids are not helping (approx 50 %plus success rate) then the Preputioplasty procedure can be used to treat phimosis and is an alternative to circumcision. It is seen as less invasive, less traumatic and quicker to heal than circumcision. Research papers indicate it has an 80% success rate and polls show 90% satisfaction rate!
Compared with circumcision, preputioplasty has few complications, and functional and cosmetic results are good, providing the foreskin is mobilized regularly after surgery.
Frenuloplasty is the best option if the tightness is due to a short penile frenulum, rather than a tight foreskin.
Sometimes preputioplasty and frenuloplasty are used together if required.
I went private for a preputioplasty (urologist did lots of them but retired now) because of phimosis with moderate scarring, healed quickly with very little pain and the results are fantastic!
The foreskin is such a sensory organ, keep it for increased pleasure for both yourself and partner.( Google: ‘The Frenular Delta: A New Preputial Structure.)
Even the NHS states that one of the possible complications of circumcision is ‘... permanent reduction in sensation in the head of the penis, particularly during sex.’ (Not just the head, the frenulum and foreskin itself)
Please note, if you want a preptutioplasty through the NHS, often you have to demand that’s what you want (circumcision or preputioplasty are the official nhs options) You have the right to request this alternative procedure to keep your foreskin!
On YouTube, a specialist doctor who practices full time doing preputioplasty has an almost 100% success rate with his method but won’t do the procedure if the foreskin has excessive scarring and cuts. Dr. Vijayant Govinda Guptas video on YouTube is called: preputioplasty video-cure tight foreskin without circumcision.(worth looking at!)
Don't know if this reply is too late or not but I've had this issue and I'm 22, I've been very sexualy inactive didn't lose my virginity until 20 and haven't had alot of sex since but during the last couple of weeks I've had sex a few times and realised that the foreskin but being able to retract does hurt a fair bit and can kill your boner and ruin the experience, also a girl giving a handjob with a phimosis penis is very awkward compared to without (I assume as I haven't any treatment yet)
Yes it will become a problem when you have sex. If the foreskin does not retract fully it will be forcefully pushed back when you try to penetrate. This will cause pain and swelling on the tip of foreskin and you might get some cuts also when you thrust in and out. Better to get it resolved to avoid problems in the future
