circumcision Open wound

i have an open wound under the head circumcised 2 weeks back, went to the doctor last week and told me i have an infection and he give me some creams to use but now its still swollen is it possible that the wound will close on its own or must i go back to the doctor to stitch it back again? its not painful or anything i am just worried about the wound being opened.

Hi Man, I would go back to your doctor to have it checked to see if the infection is clearing you may need oral antibiotics.

If you're wound has slightly opened I don't think they will restitch it for you it will have to heal by secondary wound closure, it will take longer for your circumcision to heal than a normal one but it will eventually. I think it is important to have it checked again though. All the best

Got any pics? Simular thing happened to me except stitches came loose in the hole and was parenting it to heal

You don't have to worry about the wound under the head, that one takes time and it's the last one to heal. The swelling is also normal don't penic it will go away just be patient and clean your wound.

I have 12 days from my circumcision and I have a open wound and I'm very worried about my healing process

same i’m on my 12th day too, the wound is just all watery and i just wear my boxers and shower normally

I underwent a surgery 6days ago but 4 days later the wound opened its drying up and still swollen hope it can heal on its own
