Where to circumcise my son's (UK)

I was circumcised for personal preference aged 38 when working abroad in Turkey, now i'm back in the UK i want to get my two son's (12 and 10) circumcised. They have agreed to get it done over the summer holidays, can anyone recommend a clinic around London? or would it be better to get them done in turkey?

A lot of people here seem to recommend Dr Khan in Luton. The doctors who circumcised me and my sons are all retired now (sadly - they were both excellent). I put out a similar request on here a month or so back (see my post) about a friend's son who wants to get circumcised and everyone seemed to recommend him. I know of someone else who is also getting circumcised by him next month. Keep us posted - it would be interesting to hear of your and your sons’ experience. Thanks.

Surely the best bet would be to let your sons make the decision when they're old enough - just as you did.

We have allowed this post to remain as it is, rightly or wrongly, not illegal to circumcise minors. However, cutting off any part of your body including the foreskin is not without risks - quite the opposite - and the physical and psychological damage that many men report is very, very real. Some people for their own reasons, often religious or cultural, tend to underplay the risks.

We would strongly recommend to you Johnny and all users of this forum talking to your GP about your health needs and those of your children.

I think you will struggle to find a reputable Surgeon to perform this operation just because you want to and not for medical reasons.

I strongly advise leaving them until they are at an age where they can go and have the procedure at their own will.
