Anyone else in the UK circumcised when young?

It's not very common in this country so just wondered if it gave anyone any problems / issues?

Do you have any particular reasons for asking this? Do you have issues?

Always felt quite self conscious being different. I think it held me back a bit when trying to meet girls etc. Some people would say this sounds stupid so just wondered if anyone else had similar experiences?

Sorry to hear that your experience of neonatal/juvenile circumcision has not been positive. If there are any guys on here with such experience, good or bad, they will post their thoughts.

cheers! I have found chatting about it helps, but I don't often get the chance. So this forum seems helpful!

I was circumcised later in life however I knew several boys that had been cut in my schooldays (in UK). The ratio seemed to be about one in ten (or more) when i was at school.

Two of my best mates seemed very self conscious about being circumcised, shame really, they needn’t have worried as far as I was concerned. It certainly didn’t seem to hold either of them back when it came to sexual relationships though.

Hi, I felt different for a while but just learnt to enjoy my penis more from a younger age. If I was in a public shower at the gym or swimming pool I would notice that other guys would look but then some of them would then retract their foreskins so they could be the same as me, this happens to this day. We are pretty much all the same with the glands exposed so just let it swing & be proud. With regards to ratios I've noticed at my present gym that it's basically 50/50, all ages and ententhisity which I didn't expect but it just goes to show a nice looking, healthy penis which is easy to clean is if anything on the rise.

With regards to sex, women love it, I met my wife when I was 23 & she was so pleased that I was circumcised & our sex life has been great.

One of my best friends has experienced sex with & without a foreskin & since the need for a circumcision due to tearing his foreskin during a wild sex session he has said that he now loves being cut & sex is SO much better & girls love it.

Hi there. I was circumcised as a baby and I love it. I received some teasing from other boys but it didn’t bother me. My wife adores it.
