Hi I’m 21 and I had circumcision 6 days ago but still can’t put any clothes or boxers on without it hurting because of the sensitivity but I need to return to work soon so could anybody tell me if wearing a jockstrap will stop the penis from moving around therefore stop it from hurting so that I can go back to work without being in pain?

Yes a jockstrap will help or 2 pairs of tight briefs or you could try Emla cream on glans for a couple of days you can buy from a chemist shop.

It’s a numbing cream you should find it helpful.

Hi man, yeah jockstrap or briefs the way to go and wrap him up well you may need to use some non-adherent dressing if you're wound is still weeping a bit you don't want any bandage sticking to your wound if you do need the non adhering dressing use some of that and then rap the gauze bandage around it. The Emla cream should help as well.

Hopefully in a few more days the sensitivity will start to ease off and each day will be a little bit better.
