Is this normal?

When I get an erection the shaft of my penis gets red right under the tip. It does not hurt or itch. It feels completely normal. When it goes down so the color goes back to normal. Is this any cause for concern?

No cause for concern bud, just the blood rush makes the head/tip redder than when flaccid

Hi ya John I had something similar in my case it was because my foreskin was starting to get tight over the bell end I never felt anything at first gradually it got worse and became quite painful in my case I had to have a circumcision. I'm not saying this is definitely what's happening with you but keep an eye open just in case it also caused an health issue as my skin became so tight I couldn't keep myself clean down there.
