A little help..

I am a mother of an adult male child who has been diagnosed with paranoid schizoaffective disorder in 2007.

My son is an outpatient at the Government Hospital and sees a psychiatrist regularly. He is on medication and gets 'n 3weekly anti-psycotic injection as well. He is also on 5 Ritalins a day.

My son is 32 years old and since his diagnosis, lives with me full-time. He is not a threat to society and can be alone when I am working. Unfortunately, he cannot remember stuff, and according to his psychiatrist, his short-term memory is gone.

Unfortunately, the voices are rather overwhelming and seem to worsen.

He is rather dishearted and unhappy and finds it hard to cope daily. He does meditation and breathing exercises often, but that only helps for a while.

Is there anywhere where we or he can chat with people with the same condition online (in a blog), and would that help him cope?

I am worried and sad to see my child go through this.
