The pain is subsiding but I'm still not running so much I'm just running the parkrun nice and steadily and hoping the pain goes completely. Lots of stretching parkrun and gym workout at the moment. Fingers crossed the pain completely πŸ™ goes

That's encouraging. Things like that often feel like they'll last forever ... and then suddenly they are gone! Keep the faith.

Thank you linda9389 seems to be going on forever it's little baby steps at the moment definitely not rushing into any long runs. Two parkruns this year but I've actually walked the hilly part's and just taken my time

Patience will be rewarded, but I know how tough baby steps are

Like being a new runner again but I know I have to take my time and not rush back so just running a 5k is good for me at the moment

The pain subsiding is such a good sign, so patience is your greatest friend at the minute 😍

But the fact you can run at all is very positive πŸ‘ Full running health will be restored soon, I’m sure.

As long as you are following the advice of your physio or other professional then you should be ok.

Basically they said no running for 8 weeks but he also said it might get better before and to take it easy. Basically it's getting better not as painful but not out of the woods just yet

I haven’t suffered this but Oldgirlruns had it really bad at one point. It did eventually go when she did the many exercises required.

Good luck; it sounds like you are on the right track.

It's weird because some days it really feels like it's going and then other days like today it's painful again
