Well it's been a rough few months (or year I might add)... and I have completely let my running and fitness slip and have gone nearly 3 months without going for a single run or bike ride. But following a bit of a bad meltdown on Sunday, my parents and few others encouraged me to go and get out for a run. So Monday morning comes round and I'm really suprised that I was actually back outside in the dark and rain, running! And this morning I did the same thing and I do wonder why on earth I stopped for so long, I felt much better after my two runs! I've decided to go through C25K again to build back up and hopefully that will get me through lockdown by the time I'm finished! Here's to Friday's run! π

Finally getting back on track...
Hi RC, lovely to hear from you. Iβm so sorry youβve had a rough time recently, but how great that you found joy in running again now! Itβs a great idea to go back through C25K. The structure will keep you going back and youβll soon be fighting fit again! π
Go you! π
Great to see you back RC πͺ Iβve missed your lovely smile π
Keep plugging away! You know it makes sense πππββοΈπ΄ββοΈ
We have all missed your reports of your running RC41, I just hope that all is well, that is a very sensible decision on rerunning C25K after that break and you enjoyed your run today.
We've been waiting here for you - and are very happy to see you again! re-running C25k is a great idea - lots of structure, no choices or decisions to make, no massive expectations. Run to enjoy again and here's to a much brighter 2021 regardless of how it might have started. Happy running RC.
Well done on getting back out there! ππ
Great to have you back Redcello; leave all those gremlins scrabbling in your dust...,or mud at the moment I guess π
Well done!
Although itβs slightly unnerved me to see you in a hat not cap π§’ π€£
Youβll be back up to your fitness level soon ππ½
Good for you. π
Lovely to see you back on here Redcello - and well done on getting back out there. Well done to your lovely family and friends too - for recognising it was what you needed! Hope it helps you stay on track over these next few weeks. Keep posting your runs - you are very much a part of this community! ππ½ββοΈππ
Great to see you back at it and hope you continue to enjoy running again. Good luck πππͺ
Happy you are back at it RC! Keep it up! I hope it continues to have a positive effect. Such a simple thing but it really does help.
Hi RC. Well done on getting back out there!
Good to see you back. I'm so glad it gave you that good feeling again. I bet everyone here can completely relate to that. I know I can. Keep going and keep loving it π
sorry you have had a rough time. welcome back
Hi RC, sorry to hear it's been so difficult lately. Redoing the c25k is a great idea. I completed it for the second time last spring after a 2 year break and it really brought back the joy of running - such a tonic for the mind π
