Iβm glad I did this today instead of tomorrow as I met my monthly Strava running goal which Iβd completely forgotten about!
Some funny stretching last night and not enough sleep meant my legs were tired, so I decided to give the woody trail a miss this morning. I could tell I wasnβt picking my legs up as much as usual, and didnβt want to trip over anything. Even so, it was a bit of a slog I canβt deny it! But underneath all that, my legs felt quite strong (funny how that happens) and a bit of a niggle Iβve had seems to be on the mend which is great.
Everything looks so beautiful at the moment, just so green and vibrant. It was definitely a rabbit π type of day, they skitter in and out of the hedges at various points from the fields. I think they go to see their neighbours over the way. A nice herd of cows and their calves watched me run past, their heads just following me with such curiosity it makes me chuckle. I waved and said hello.
June has been a funny running month for me what with this and that, so bring on July! Have a smashing day all! πππ

Lovely run Frenc, and yes, a perfect morning for it. π Smart not to risk trip hazards, so your chosen route sounded just right. Well done on reaching your running target too.
I totally agree since Lindaβs fall Iβve been super cautious and today wasnβt the day for running between roots etc! I do a little emoji of all the animals I see on Strava. Sometimes I do a crab as the wood I didnβt do today is called Crab Wood π¦π¦π¦! Thank you! πππ
