A sunny cool run 🏃🏻‍♀️

Just to think we were all getting up at ridiculous hours not so long ago to beat the incredibly hot weather! This morning I had the luxury of waiting an hour or so for it to warm up a bit which was such a treat 😊. It was gorgeous, cool and bright, you know when everything seems sharp and clean. Even a feather floating to the ground on a slight breeze looked so pretty. We are coming into the season a lot of us have been waiting for I’m sure - the summer has been a toughie for us runners hasn’t it 🍁🍂🥮.

I did a nice 10k which was needed as I’ve been a bit lax this week what with one thing and another. Mind you I nearly came a cropper in the woods, and I was being so careful! I literally have no idea how I stayed upright apart from having short and pretty strong legs. There were lots of cyclists and I saw a lady running with her dog twice - I wonder if she heard me cursing loudly when I almost fell over!

2 x shirt weather up here in the North East Frenc. 13 degrees with a cool wind. Felt good when I had finished running though.

No; gloves are the last phase. It has to be frosty before I resort to gloves. Leggings come next! I did put a hat on today though.

I made two winter purchases at the running shop yesterday ; a thicker zip up top and an under shirt. Can’t be too careful 🙂

Just beautiful.. sounds a glorious run. Chilly here at the coast in Wales this morning but glorious after 10 ish...warm now and sitting on my decking gazing at a sparkling sea... I feel it may be a tad chiller at 8 tomorrow morning!

I get you with the fear of tripping.. there's been a dig up of my route and with the sun.. I was very aware of trip hazzords 😱

Thanks Sparky! Nearly every time I go through those woods I trip on something to the point I wonder if it’s safer to avoid them, but they are just so nice to go through 😊.
