This is my first venture on to this board from the Couch to 5k and Bridge to 10K forums.
In a moment of post good run enthusiasm/utter madness, I’ve signed up for the Bath half marathon in October. I did couch to 5k as a New Years’ resolution and recently did my first 10K race. I’ve been running 10K pretty comfortably for a while now but never gone further than that. When I signed up for the 10K race, it was in a moment of post good run enthusiasm/utter madness and I hadn’t even run 5k. You might notice a pattern there…
I’ve recently started using the NRC half marathon training plan as something to keep me focussed after the 10K. I’ll be aiming to finish having run all/most of it rather than any sort of fast time. Hoping that’s achievable in the roughly fifteen weeks to go!

Hi and welcome to this forum! How exciting. It sounds like you're in a great position for Bath in October. There are lots of fans of the NRC plan here.
You may find some interesting info here in one of our pinned posts as you move through your training healthunlocked.com/marathon... , but if you have any questions at all do ask away. Let us know how the training is going and have fun 😊
How exciting! I’ve heard it’s a nice one to do and I know Bath is a lovely city. Good luck with all your training too. I feel like a traitor to the country hoping it’s not too warm or too sunny over the school holidays!!
Despite several previous attempts (long stories 🙄) this will be my first time there. They’ve changed the route slightly from previous years but yes, it’s such a gorgeous city it’ll be a joy to run there 🤗
