Only managed to fit one run in since the HU HM last weekend so really wanted out this morning ππββοΈ
Had bought a new wooly hat on Saturday seeing the weather frosty for the first time this year..
So off I set.. lovely fresh morning, but not cold enough for the hat yet..lol.. didn't know wether to take it off or stuff it down my pants.. continued all the way with a boiling head π€£
Nice run for you Caroline, energy, you will need that for your granddaughter if she's anything like mine at that age, she was always 'running' around the house with me or her mother trying to catch her and that was before I began C25K.
Maybe, you should buy a running pram and take your granddaughter with you!
My bubba no.5 ran with me with my beloved Bob running stroller until he started kindergarten. Cheeky boy would shout βtoo slowβ really loudly much to everyoneβs amusement β€οΈπββοΈ
Sounds like a nice run albeit with a hot head! Mind you it is bloominβ chilly at the mo, I opted for a lunchtime run at work yesterday as the thought of going out at 5:45 didnβt appeal π€£. Enjoy spending time with your granddaughter πππ.
Good for you.. especially on a lunch break π³ but got to fit it in somewhere πͺI can't seem to get out later in the day..if I don't get up and out..I won't.. π€ͺ
Grandaughter is more exausting than a 10K run.. but wonderful π
I crocheted a hat last year with cotton to run in the freezing temperatures. Kept me nice and warm, but now I am knitting 2 new hats to use for running in acrylic. They will be better fitted to my head. But when it is freezing I do need something on my head. Mostly I run with a (bought) cap on my head with a sun visor, even in autumn and no sun. It's just to keep my hair out of my eyes.
