Have not run for weeks.Great to get back out and use Abi’s SSC as a five week re introduction.
Cannot wait to get the garden off my back,Mr Winter to the rescue.
Going to introduce early morning runs in fasted state and post run hot&cold showers.Apparently benefits from blood flow.Give it a try anyway until I can get on programme fully in October.
As long as the magic forum is there,so is running and all the benefits that gives.

I am getting on fine thanks Tbae, no parkrun for me tomorrow as there is another event in that park and the run is cancelled.
What I'm going to do is run a 7K locally with my metromone app at 162 steps a minute, last Sunday I ran a 6K along the same route in 44.25, so with another kilometer the time should be around 52 minutes, running in my new running shoes is much more comfortable than the trainers I used to run in.
Just what every girl wants, a six pack 😂 hmm, I’m crawling along actually. I get to fly tomorrow when I do intervals in- gasp- zones 4&5 ... be still my beating heart (or at least keep down in the zones)
Good to see you back. My runs are always fasted state save for actual events which are usually later in the day. Never tried the hot/ cold shower though. Unless my kids start running the kitchen tap whilst I'm in there that is.
Happy Birthday Tbae. Enjoy your running. What a view! I get so envious of people that can run by the sea. Only a few weeks til I get my next fix though - and it’ll include Sizewell parkrun so I’ll get a nuclear power boost too! 😄
